The anniversary event is taking place from 6th September to the 8th September 2019.

Preliminary Weekend Schedule:

Friday:

15:00 People start to arrive
17:00 We will hold both music and dance workshops. As per tradition, the musician’s workshop will be with Marquinho Da Dona Geralda. The dancers workshop will be held with Meire Claudia Oliveira Santos
19:00 Break and pizzas
19:30(ish) Music workshop continues and dancers can join and practice their new choreography
21:00 Hygge :-)

Saturday:

10:00 Brunch at the accommodation
12:00 THE Parade through Aarhus*
18:00 Dinner
20:00 Party at Atlas complete with: a DJ from London, fashion show, pagode band, beginners dance workshop, performance, Capoeira and Caipirinhas!
02:00 Party further in town or sleeeep zzz

Sunday:

09:00 Breakfast
11:00 Farewell and goodbye

*To attend the parade you must attend the workshop the day before in order to learn the material :-)

All of the above is included in the price of the ticket, which is: 300 kr. for members of Sambananas and 400 kr. for non-members.

Accommodation will be provided to those that are travelling from afar. It will be located in a leisure club close to the city center and also close to the rehearsal room where the workshops will take place. Just be sure to bring mattresses, sleeping bags, pillows, and yourself.
