Blockchain technology is an application of web 3.0 which may be defined as a system that uses cryptocurrency(digital currency) for transactions and have properties like immutability, trustfulness, and distributiveness. it is highly secured and new blocks( information pieces) are added as new units to the chain, where security system involves the every previous block address to break through the current unit. this ensures safety of the system and also distributed as every participant can know the transaction is happening but cannot uncover the transaction.
