Camp Dates: August 2nd – 5th & August 8th – 13th 2022  

This year FLIGHT Summer Camp will be run on Discord- for day-to-day activities, camp events like the mini-conference on Aug 5th and Showcase day on Aug 13th will be run on Zoom

*Familiarity with Discord and Zoom is helpful*

Program volunteers are the backbone of the program, some of the tasks and responsibilities of this role are:

- Engaging participants by answering participants’ questions (guiding campers around Discord and directing them to where they should be)
- Facilitating the monitoring chat, and monitoring video + participants (monitoring question channel in Discord & monitoring chat on Zoom)
- Troubleshooting and providing technical support to all people; campers, speakers, and coaches (both on Zoom and Discord)

This is an opportunity to network with professionals in the entrepreneurship and tech space, and to contribute to social change by making a tangible impact in educating underrepresented groups domestically and internationally. Additionally, you will be able to develop the soft skills necessary to interact and excel in a professional environment, gain knowledge of the entrepreneurial process and the tools necessary to facilitate it, and gain leadership experience. Finally, you will have the opportunity to facilitate virtual events geared towards online learning and managing mid-sized groups.
