Tikkun Leil Shavuot 2022
Thank you for weighing in on which learning option you'd prefer for AARC’s Tikkun Leil Shavuot (Saturday June 4, 7 pm - 10 pm). Option A is more participatory, practical, and community-driven; Option B is more rabbi-led, text-based, and frontal. We'll end the evening with cheesecake and havdallah either way, as well as a dance party if a member would like to organize it (see below).

OPTION A: “How Do You Do Jewish?”
An evening focused on the practical side of 'doing Jewish.' Rabbi Ora will teach an hour-long class, “How To Create & Lead A Shabbat Service.” Members will teach (15 or 30 minute time slots) on the theme “How I Do Jewish.” This could range from “How I Make My Bubbe's Cheesecake” to “How I Repair Relationships During the High Holidays” to "How I Organize My Community Around Immigrant Rights" and anything in between.
OPTION B: “Demons and Dybbuks and Reincarnation, Oh My!”
The evening’s learning will be a culmination of the Ta Shma series “Otherworlds and Underworlds,” and will feature a 1.5 hour text-based class taught by Rabbi Ora on rabbinic, medieval, and early modern concepts of demons, dybbuks, fallen angels, and more.
