A little about us

We are a running group based in the Peak District village of Youlgrave. Established in March 2021 as a hub for all our local and visiting runners.
 
We have no affiliation and no overheads. We are simply people that meet up to train and jog about. If you fancy joining us there are no binding terms to membership. It simply adds structure which allows us to run championships, member only runs and 1st entry into the various races and events we put on. We do request that you make a £5 donation to our village school charity...and assign your soul to Youlgrave Harriers for life. RACE: THE WINSTER HILL RACE
When and Where: Thursday 30th June 2022 19:00, Winster

Details: The Hill Race forms part of the Winster Wakes week long festival. Our race is an 'undulating' 4 miles using the lanes, trails and fields around the village. The course is marshaled at all the junctions and partially marked up. Its suitable for all levels of runner, challenging for the experienced runners and a great introduction to hill running for new runners.

We're a friendly, successful and well established running club of all ages and abilities. We're affiliated to England Athletics and we regularly participate in road, fell and cross country running events and leagues. What ever your ability we would be very pleased for you to join us. As a member, you get many benefits from being within the club eg membership includes free entry to the Notts AAA summer League (4 races) and 2 Cross Country Leagues (8 races).  We've an active social calendar of trips, evenings out, running challenges and other non-running events.

We meet every Wednesday night at 7pm at Sandiacre Town Football Club (St Giles Park, Sandiacre, NG10 5EL) and every Sunday ay 9:30AM (variable location SUNDAY SESSIONS PAGE https://www.evrc.co.uk/club-runs/ ).  So why not come along for four free sessions? Then join us for a drink in the bar afterwards.
