ELiTE's program is a full year experience where students will learn core programming concepts using Python and develop their technical skill sets through interactive projects. By the end of the year, students will have developed a portfolio of projects showcasing their technical skills and competencies.
Students will also be provided college and career readiness support to learn how to make themselves a competitive applicant for internships at institutions, such as NYU, Columbia University, MIT, and more depending on their interests. Receive application guidance and college and career counseling during weekly (weekday) STEM focused college readiness sessions.
ELiTE is community oriented. We take the time to get to know each other through fun team-building activities and events. We share our music playlists, go on field trips, play games, share our interests, and have fun!
You are expected to attend all sessions:
- Every Saturday starting in September from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM for programming classes at Columbia Engineering
- One weekday (day dependent on grade) from 6:00 PM to 7:15 PM for college and career readiness workshops
Students are expected to be responsible for their own participation in the program and communicate with the team in a timely manner. In addition to completing the application form, please email your transcript/report card to the following email address: <programs@elite-education.org>.
