For the Kubernetes Contributor Summit EU 2024 we are looking for volunteers for the Day of Operations. 

You must already be registered for the Kubernetes Contributor Summit to volunteer for the roles below

The following roles are available, and we will require 1.5 hours of your time. We will check if you have morning or afternoon preferences so you do not miss all the conference :) 

Hot Spare

Chill

Manage Slack for questions from attendees

Attend sessions

Keep your phone on you

Be ready to relieve someone if needed 

Door

Sit with CNCF staff

Check all people entering are Kubernetes org members

Give directions to where sessions are taking place

Runner

Make yourself known to venue staff

Be willing to troubleshoot sound and room issues

Keep your phone on you

A good amount of walking might be needed – wear comfortable shoes!

Unconference

Remind folks to take notes in GDocs

- Notes docs, 1 per session, linked in Slack channel

Don't let one person monopolize the conversation

- "Has everyone who wants to say something had a chance to do so?"
