Volunteer in Our Maritime Food Forest in 2020!
Dear Friend,

We look forward to working with you at Stuyvesant Cove Park in the 2020 season!

We rely on our passionate and dedicated volunteers to support and achieve the sustainable management of this cherished and ecologically important community space. Based on seasonality and group size, activities include; habitat regeneration projects, coastline maintenance & litter capture, and building our Modular Edible Ecosystems.

This is the perfect place to make a positive impact in restoring the ecological health of our island while learning about urban restoration ecology and coastal resilience together.

Many activities require good ol’ fashioned hard work, generating satisfying outcomes, and we are glad to find ways to help for everyone - there are no physical requirements. Please let us know how we can best accommodate you! Our goal for these events is to make a difference, build relationships and have fun doing it!

Solar One’s Stuy Cove Park is located between 18th and 23rd Streets on the East River in Manhattan. We have free parking for up to 15 vehicles, and are near the L train and several express bus lines.

Sounds great - tell me more!
