Community Resource Center (CRC) supports opportunities for community development by providing access to resources for nonprofit leaders in Colorado. More than 5,000 nonprofits operate within the eight regions and 52-counties considered rural in our state. These organizations play an important role in improving the quality of life in Colorado's communities and provide services to address human needs, such as food for the hungry, transitional housing and poverty alleviation.
To build the capacity of nonprofits working to better address the key factors that influence poverty in our communities, we are providing a limited number of AmeriCorps members to our nonprofit partners across Colorado. CRC accomplishes this through our statewide Rural Capacity Building VISTA Project. Please read below for key details of the program.
