Elizabeth, our Queen, doth much enjoy the gentle creatures that inhabit myths.  That our patrons might enjoy them also, the Siouxland Renaissance Association is looking for volunteers to play mythical creatures at our Festival.  

These creatures will inhabit our children's area. They need to be expressions of myths that would have been known by 16th century English people.  Portrayers need to know the history of their characters so that they can help the tour guides explain them accurately.  Creatures will not be allowed to wander the Festival.  

All those portraying creatures must complete this application and submit it to the SRA.  Applications will be reviewed and select members may be admitted, or may be asked to an audition (taped or live).  The primary purpose of the audition is to approve costumes and assess ability to interact with patrons.  All creatures will be subject to the approval of the Education Committee.
