RESEARCH ON EXISTING NATIONAL PRACTICES

The international Erasmus+ ‘EndorseMe’ Project is gathering information about the current status of cross-recognition of seafarers’ qualifications - positive examples of current practice, as well as the barriers and challenges to greater mutual recognition and endorsement of training certificates. As part of the project, we would like to invite you to participate in our survey questionnaire.

The objective of this questionnaire is to survey National Maritime Administrations like yours, that are tasked with approval of such certifications, with the goal of gaining clarification on the procedures that are currently in place related to seafarer Certificates of Competency (CoC) and Certificates of Proficiency (CoP) on a EU member state level. The questions contained within the questionnaire are designed to collect information pertaining to national requirements for recognition of qualifications, which reflect the international standards and agreements for maritime work. The information collected will remain confidential and used solely for academic purposes.

The survey should take no longer than 5-10 minutes to complete. Thank you for your participation.
