By signing up to this list and participating in any "zaps", you will increase revolutionary syndicalist activity in Illinois prisons and even save lives.

A "zap" is a coordinated effort to contact one or more persons by a group of people to achieve an objective. In the case of prisoner support, this often means something as little as alerting prison officials that prisoners cannot be abused because a community is watching them.

Someone engaging in a zap does not have to be confrontational; it can be as simple as polite communication exchanges.

One can participate in zaps through anonymous means as well.
