Field Trip Experience

SHOW CHOIR - GRADES 3-12 - MINIMUM 25 STUDENTS - Students will come to The Hive to learn and perform a song and dance. They will learn proper performance techniques. The will create characters, and build the scene using the style of show choir. The two hour experience will culminate in a performance by the students. Song choice subject to availability.

READER'S THEATRE - GRADES 3-12 - MINIMUM 25 STUDENTS - Students will come to The Hive to learn and perform a play. They will learn proper performance techniques. The will create characters, and build the scene using the minimalist style of Reader’s Theatre. The two hour experience will culminate in a performance by the students.

IMPROVISATION - GRADES Pre-K-12 - MINIMUM 25 STUDENTS - Students will come to The Hive to learn the basic skills of improvisation. They will play games that will progressively develop their skills as actors as well as prepare them for real life experiences. The 2 hour experience can be observed by field trip chaperones.

WE BRING THE SHOW TO YOU - GRADES Pre-K-12 - MINIMUM 120 STUDENTS - We will bring a Reader’s Theatre style show of your choice (limited to availability of rights) to your school and perform it on your stage. The time will vary based on the show choice.

SING, DANCE, & PLAY - GRADES Pre-K-12 - MINIMUM 25 STUDENTS - Students will learn age appropriate music, dances, and games that will help them to develop their fine motor skills, appreciation for the art, as well as allow them to have a really good time. Field trip chaperones are welcome to observe or join in on the fun during the 2 hour experience.

LIVE SHOW OR MOVIE - GRADES Pre-K-12 - MINIMUM 50 STUDENTS - Subject to availability. Field trip coordinators can request a special show, or may attend regularly scheduled shows. Call for information about current shows, or to request a special viewing. The time will vary based on the show choice.

Important

All students attending the field trip must have a signed waiver prior to arriving at The Hive. The waiver will be emailed for distribution along with the invoice. Please make sure to bring them on the day of your trip.

Payment Information

An invoice will be emailed via the email address provided after the request is submitted and finalized.
Payment may be made by card or check in advance or upon arrival.
Reservations must be made 30 days in advance. 30% NON-REFUNDABLE Deposit Due Upon Reservation.
