Family Contribution: A varsity research student commits to 54 hours of meaningful engagement as a member of the CSCR research team. A CSCR varsity research student, however, enjoys YEAR ROUND ACCESS to project work such as fall and winter data analysis, report writing, and team and individual coaching for presentation at our annual State of the Harbor community forum. Our suggested CSCR Varsity Family Contribution is $540. Need based scholarships are available; we support all students. Please contact jbuckley@ccscr.org with any questions. *

Academic Opportunities and Expectations: CSCR's Varsity Research students have a ton of fun in the lab and field, but are also committed to functioning as professional researchers- to the best of their abilities. As a team, Varsity Research students are committed to the team's research goals and the team's schedule. They are eager to document the team's research; and they contribute to the team's digital portfolio of learning. Furthermore, Varsity Research students value the opportunities CSCR provides to publicly share team findings with community stakeholders. Finally, Varsity Research students know that showcasing these efforts often leads to recogntion from CSCR, from their high school, from Stellwagen Bank, and even colleges! (Many Varsity Research students highlight their CSCR work in college applications.) Great opportunities lie ahead for Varsity Research students, and we do expect Varsity Research students to earn these opportunities through their commitment to their team.  *
