Thank you for interest in the Community Advisory Board (CAB). We are excited and grateful for your support. Golden Brick Events (GBE) acknowledges that it takes time & labor to complete this interest form. We also honor that many folx do not have resources to spare after surviving systems of violence and erasure. More about CAB:  The community advisory board was an initiative spawned from the feedback of our festival attendees. Rooted in community, the Board’s role is to be in support of the larger mission of Refuge. Community Advisory Board (CAB) members will help with the coordination of Refuge events and provide knowledge, guidance, and representation to virtual and in-person activities. CAB is comprised of a diverse group of BIPOC that commit to a year of on-going guidance and leadership of the overall festival. Each member serves in at least one task, coordinator and/or lead role. Completed invitations will be reviewed by the board and must receive a majority share of the votes to be admitted.
