2023 Cultural Exchange Program
We are excited about the launch of our program that will allow us to communicate with people from different cultures while sharing and growing our love for the art form of step. When you exchange artistic expression and ideas with a native performer, you get a unique glimpse into their culture and way of life. It also gives you a chance to improve your skills and learn about the fascinating history and traditions of the new culture.
How does it work? WOS partners up with local performance art organizations with the emphasis on step to help provide them support via artistic training and business development while we exchange and learn from each other’s culture. For many people, the idea of culture exchange conjures up images of exotic travel and exciting adventures. But culture exchange importance can be seen as its the powerful tool for improving your professional career and gaining valuable work experience. In today’s global economy, it’s essential for young professionals to learn how to pivot across cultures. Culture exchange programs help you do just that.

Price: $725.00 USD per person

Deposit – a non-refundable deposit of $100.00 must be received to hold a spot. Payment Plan – individuals can submit any amount they chose to make payment however full amount will be due no later than March 2023.

  1. Pricing - Please note the full price of the package excluding airfare is 
  2. Eligibility – Must be a registered member of the World of Step Community defined has:
  • Participated/ Competed as a performer, coach or assistant at one of the World of Step Regional/ National Event.
  • Have Volunteered in World of Step Events.
  • Will be registering to compete at upcoming World of Step Regional Event.
  • Have worked or volunteered with one of the teams who have competed at the World of Step Regional/National Competition.
  1. Housing & Amenities – Located in the heart of Daker, WOS has partnered up with local Air B-N-B to accommodations that will consist of a full-time cooking staff on site for all meals along with a pool in the vicinity. Fully air-conditioned lodging will be organized as 15 people per household with 1 house manager assigned to help organize logistics for each stay. Menus will be created of all meals that will be provided every day which includes Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
  2. Transport – We will be transporting all participants in the program in our 30 passenger busses, which are fully air conditioned and have a personal driver for each day of our activity.
  3. This operator reserves the right to change rates advertised on WorldofStep.com and will notify individuals who have purchased package in advance.
  4. The exact order, contents and rates of this tour is subject to availability, and it will be a 1st come, 1st.
  5. If trip is cancelled by WOS, individual will be refunded 100 percent of their funding. If you individual cancels, their deposit is non-refundable.
