Please fill out the following form and select a time to audition for UNH Chamber Singers

Auditions will be held in PCAC M-125 and will last about 12 minutes each

UNH Chamber Singers rehearses MWF 11:10am – 12:30pm in Bratton Hall, PCAC

Enrollment in MUSI 441 (Concert Choir) is a co-requisite for this course –
Concert Choir rehearses MWF 4:10pm – 5:30pm in Bratton Hall PCAC. Please contact Dr. Favazza directly if you have a conflict (alex.favazza@unh.edu)

Auditions will take place Sunday, August 25, 2019 and Monday, August 26, 2019. (The first rehearsals for MUSI 441 and 442 will be on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 in Bratton PCAC M-135).

Audition windows available: (please submit only once, selecting one audition time – please contact Dr. Favazza alex.favazza@unh.edu if you need to change your audition time after you have submitted the form. Dr. Favazza will email the audition time list on Saturday, August 24, 2019 as reminder to people who have scheduled auditions.

Sunday, August 25, 2019, 2:00 – 5:00 PM (15 minute audition blocks)
Monday, August 26, 2019, 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM and 4:00 – 5:30 PM (15 minute audition blocks)

Auditions will include:
Range investigation
Tonal memory
Advanced sight-singing
Prepared excerpt: Gloria from Mass in G Minor for soli and Double Chorus - Ralph Vaughan Williams (from the beginning through the sixth bar of Rehearsal Letter D). Please choose a single double chorus part to learn for the audition (i.e. SI, SII, AI, AII, TI, TII, BI, BII). Unaccompanied solo excerpt of your choice (classical is preferred, anything is welcome - if you do not have a solo prepared, you will be asked to sing a familiar song like "Happy Birthday")

Spots are limited in Chamber Singers.

A final list for Chamber Singers will be emailed to members and placed on the bulletin board outside PCAC M-125 at 6:30 PM on Monday, August 26, 2018.

This list will then be emailed to Alexis Zaricki (Music Department Academic Coordinator) who will add students to the course (MUSI 442, 1 credit hour)

The first rehearsals for Chamber Singers and Concert Choir will be Wednesday, August 28, 2018
