Our GCS band program is fortunate to have a number of large instruments to loan our students including Tubas, Baritones, French horns, Bass Clarinets, Tenor Saxophones, Baritone Saxophones and bassoons. All students studying those instruments will be assigned their large instruments during the first week of school unless they have their own. *Students studying Tuba, baritone and Bassoon will be assigned one instrument for school use, and one instrument for home use.

*There is no fee to borrow a school-loaned instrument however all students need to provide their own supplies including: mouthpieces (brass and woodwinds), valve oil (brass), reeds, swabs (woodwinds).

We also have a very limited number of smaller instruments available for student use but try to reserve those instruments for emergency purposes. These instruments have been acquired through community donation and are loaned out on a need-based system.
