Join a group of 30 wildly inquisitive and daring teachers from all over the US for a week-long deep dive into

A Midsummer Night’s Dream—scholarship, live performance, and classroom practice— and
The Folger Method of teaching, so that ALL students realize the power of language and their own minds!

WHERE: The National Building Museum, Washington, DC (Folger is on the road during our exciting building renovation project!)

ACADEMY FACULTY: Directors Dr. Peggy O’Brien & Corinne Viglietta, Folger Education; Mentor Teachers Deborah Gascon, Dutch Fork High School (SC), & Amber Phelps, Baltimore City College High School (MD); Scholars and Performance Faculty to be announced soon!

TUITION: $2000 covers materials, some meals, and live theatre. Grants for travel and other unmet needs are available through Folger’s donor-supported The Will to Teach Fund.

COVID-19 UPDATE: We are accepting applications on a rolling basis. We expect to notify all applicants by May 2020.

To secure a spot, an accepted applicant must submit a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the tuition cost.
