KBtL V takes place September 27-29, 2024. 

The CEC team lead must be able to attend staff meetings in July, August, and September (always the 3rd Sunday of the Month starting at 7pm Central European Summer Time) as well as for the majority of the event. 

CEC team lead is responsible for assisting participants of KBtL with Consent and Emotional Care concerns that come up during the hours of the event. Conversations start on discord, but it's always possible to take them offline and into private chat for additional privacy or accessibility purposes. This position must have training and experience navigating conflict management, active listening, trauma-informed care, empathetic communication, harm-reduction techniques, and other related skills. The CEC team lead is responsible for managing the CEC team and assisting with taking reports. Documentation of CEC related incidents is mandatory, and the CEC team lead is responsible for addressing any follow up requested or required for incidents reported. The CEC team lead reports to the Producer and the Chiefs of Staff for KBtL V, but is also an independent actor with the community's best interests as a priority. 

Prioritization for this position will go to applicants who are outside of the USA and identify with marginalized identities. 

Please note, this is a staff position for KBtL and we would ideally like someone who can stay involved for KBtL V as well as future events. Staff earn free admission and free extended access for the event, but are unpaid.
