Thank you for your time and effort in nominating your colleague for the Phyllis Law Googasian Award. The Oakland chapter of the American Council on Education established this award in 1992 in honor of Phyllis Law Googasian, Trustee Emerita, for her exceptional commitment to the University and to the advancement of women. The award is bestowed to a member of the Oakland University community who has contributed to the advancement of women on our campus through distinguished leadership, scholarship, advocacy, mentoring, program development, or other activities.
Eligible Nominees: Any member of the Oakland University faculty (including Special Lecturers and Instructors), administrators, and administrative professionals.
Nominations can be completed by submitting answers to the questions below. Required questions are identified with an asterisk. Please focus your attention on those questions which are most relevant to your experiences with the nominee's accomplishments - some items may be left blank. Only one nominee per form is allowed; however, individuals may nominate more than one person each year. Individuals may be nominated by more than one person.
