To apply for the CUSD Summer Program, please submit this form no later than May 22, 2024 (we need your registration a day before it closes to have time to register any last minute requests. Requests will be submitted on a first-come, first-serve basis and continue until the deadline or until the course is full whichever comes first.

If you are interested in registering for and after school CCA course, registration will open Feb 12th.  Each high school's allotted spaces in these courses will close on March 29, 2024 and remaining seats will be allocated after spring break on a first come, first serve basis. CUSD Summer School Program
     Health

Health is 100% online but students need to take tests and the final exam in person. They may also meet with the teacher in person during summer school hours if they need help or have questions. Teachers are available during all summer school hours and they are in contact with students via email.

            Health (5 credits)

A-G Geometry (10 credits) students must enroll in BOTH semester 1 AND semester 2 which will be taken concurrently.
Students MUST have met the pre-requisite criteria for this course in order to qualify.

NOTE: Please see Mrs. Miller or Mrs. Tilley if you are registering to take Geometry for acceleration. This is a year-long course. You will not be registered for this course without meeting with your counselor. It is highly recommended that students have an A average in Algebra and a teacher recommendation for this course.

All students must complete an in-person or online orientation no later than June 30th. Although not required, it is strongly recommended that students attend an in-person Orientation session during the first two weeks of school. Orientation sessions will be offered every hour on the hour during school hours for the first two weeks of summer school. Students can attend any time that is convenient. Attending an in-person Orientation session will give students the opportunity to meet their teacher and to thoroughly understand any requirements specific to their class. In past years, student success was directly linked to an in-person attendance at an Orientation session.

NOTE: All summer school courses require students to take tests and the final exam in person.  Tests may be taken during summer school hours Mon-Thurs - 8:30-1:00.  Multiple tests may be taken on the same day. Students should allow a minimum of 30 minutes for each test and an hour for final exams. All coursework and tests must be completed by NOON on July 17th. There are also optional lectures and labs available; the students that attend these are the ones that are most successful.  The lectures are repeated so there is still a great deal of flexibility.
