Thank you so much for your interest in RCRC's 2023 Workshops and Classes! Applications for each workshop will be open until three business days before the start date. We will do our best to be transparent and prompt in confirming you or your youngster's enrollment. Thank you for your patience and support!

This application will take 10-15 minutes to complete. Please note that the following information will be required to complete your application:
-Medical & Behavioral information (this information will not affect enrollment)
-Emergency contact information
-A tuition pledge on a sliding scale. Workshop: $50-$0  Class Series: $160-$0.

Please be sure to read everything through carefully, including RCRC's COVID Safety policies. If you are signing up your kiddo for a class geared towards 8-17 year olds, the section on "Attendee Info" (the second to last section) will require info from your youngster. Your application will not be received until you select "Submit" at the bottom and see the confirmation message. You will receive an automated copy of your application to review, and staff will send a confirmation email within 3-5 business days. Although the required questions are indicated by a red asterisk, we ask that you answer every applicable question.

GENERAL PROGRAM INFORMATION

*Virtual Classes and Workshops will be held on Zoom.

*In-Person Classes will take place at The Umbrella in the Central District. 302 19th Avenue, Seattle, WA 98122.

*Slots are limited for in-person courses. If you do not initially get a spot, we will add you the waitlist.

*Information specific to your class or workshop will be emailed to you before its start date!

Tuition Information
Tuition is based on a sliding scale. 
Workshop: $50-$0  Class Series: $160-$0

Since spring of 2017, all Rain City Rock Camp programs have operated on a sliding scale tuition model. A sliding scale is a tool that can provide equitable access to skill-building and life-long learning opportunities, regardless of financial resources. This method of payment requires active participation and personal reflection on what makes sense for your family’s financial situation, and how you would like to support knowledge-sharing in the Rain City Rock Camp community. The sliding scale is one way of acknowledging differences in wealth, income, costs, and privilege and actively address the economic disparities in our communities and society. Rain City Rock Camp is moving towards this model as a way to say ‘no’ to the ways things are and ‘yes’ to the ways we believe things can be, while providing an excellent rock camp experience for all.

Later in the application, we will ask you to enter what amount of tuition you'd like to pay. Please keep in mind the above information as you make this decision.
