We want to be able to run most artworks in realtime, however, some pieces may have several technical features that make it difficult to so, for that reason we are asking as a requisite, to have video documentation of your work.
There are three categories:
- Exhibition: GIFs, Videos, Processing sketches, Code Snippets, still images.
Libraries, applications, games, Codepens , sketches, shaders, recorded live sets, artist showcases go in this category, video documentation should be at least a minimum of 1 minute to a maximum of 15 minutes. If the work needs to be shown live, please include a Github link alongside compiling or operating instructions.
- Performance: Video documentation, artist description.
We are looking for acts that can play a live set during our afterparty, Livecoders are encouraged to join and submit their acts however any other sort of collaboration on stage is also welcomed! Pieces must be a minimum of 30 minutes to a maximum of 60 minutes, participation with the audience is encouraged but not a must. We have a maximum of 2 team members to a collective. Materials needed can be discussed but preferred if the collective can rent or supply their own. Depending on the piece a stipend for travel will be awarded to the selected piece.
- Installations: video documentation, diagrams and build plans.
Installations must be complete and be in a transportable state by May 2022. The collective or artists involved in the montage of the installation must be present or send a representative with clear build instructions.
For all categories, please submit a video excerpt or a GIF showing a part of the finished artwork/performance.
Please notice that we can only provide transportation fees for audiovisual acts that can perform at the after-party!
