Hillgrove Music Institute Registration 2022-23
Lessons will be held at Hillgrove High School with a highly qualified professional musician who specializes on their instrument in the evenings/after school. Students are required to sign up for a commitment of one month to begin lessons.  Onsite lessons are not available when school is out or on early release days.

Private Lesson Prices:

30 min lesson = $32   /  45 min lessons = $47   /    60 min lesson = $62  / 

(20 minute lesson = $22 - 6th grade ONLY)

Payments are due by the 1st of the month for that month's lessons.  For example, September 1st is the due date for all lessons in September.  Payment details and other important information is included in this year's HMI student package.  Payments are made online on our website at www.hillgroveband.com - please mark payment for "HMI - Student Name" so we can accurately credit your student.  Please see red button "made payments" on the right side of the main page.

Upon registering here and making a payment online, please contact to the instructor your student wishes to take lessons with so they can schedule you.  Instructors schedule the lessons - our band boosters simply obtains registrations and payments for them.

***SPECIAL NOTE ON PAYMENTS:  We are only taking online payments for HMI this year (no checks or cash at this time).  Students who have not paid by the 1st of each month will NOT receive lessons that month.  This policy is to protect our instructors from nonpayment of lessons.

Also, please note that students who are currently taking lessons at Hillgrove HS need to complete this form as well. For such students, effective November 1st, all payments will go through our online system, as opposed to being transferred directly to private instructors. Such students will also have to pay the standard rates listed above. This DOES NOT apply to students who are taking private lessons off-campus (e.g., at the private instructor's home).

My child will begin with one month of pre-paid lessons, as soon as possible, and I will continue to follow the payment and attendance guidelines for the duration of my child’s private study.

I understand not paying the monthly lesson fee by the 1st of the month (in advanced) means my student will not be eligible for lessons until funds are paid in full, at which time lessons can resume at the discretion of the instructor based on their schedule.
