The present edition of the Transeuropa festival – Holding Spaces – is about our relation to our environment. But we have to ask the question: What is the base of this relation?
In prehistorical times Homo sapiens was the part of nature; it was our environment; we depended on it. But today our relationship has changed drastically; we have several kinds of environments, but most of them are alienated, and we hardly have any connection to them. We are disconnected from the places we want to hold.
Forum theatre was developed by the Brazilian theatre director Augusto Boal as part of the Theatre of the Oppressed. Boal aimed to help oppressed people to get a better understanding of their situation and give them a tool to change it. At this workshop, you can get a practical introduction to the method and gain experience in developing a forum theatre scene.

Ediția din acest an a festivalului Transeuropa intitulată „Holding Spaces” are ca temă relația noastră cu mediul înconjurător. Dar trebuie să ne punem întrebarea: care este baza acestei relații?
În timpurile preistorice, Homo sapiens făcea parte din natură; era mediul nostru înconjurător; depindeam de ea. Dar astăzi relația noastră s-a schimbat drastic; am creat diferite tipuri de medii, dar majoritatea sunt înstrăinate și abia avem vreo legătură cu ele. Ne-am deconectat de spațiile pe care dorim să le păstrăm.
Teatrul forum a fost dezvoltat de regizorul brazilian Augusto Boal ca parte a Teatrului Oprimaților. Boal dorea să ajute oamenii oprimați, să înțeleagă mai bine situația lor și să le ofere un instrument pentru a o schimba. În cadrul workshop-ului veți avea parte de o introducere practică în această metodă și de o experiență în dezvoltarea unei scene de teatru forum.

A Transeuropa fesztivál jelenlegi kiadásának témája – Holding Spaces – a környezetünkhöz való viszonyunkat vizsgálja. De fel kell tennünk a kérdést: mi ennek a kapcsolatnak az alapja?
A prehisztorikus időkben a homo sapiens a természet része volt; ez volt a környezetünk; tőle függtünk. Mára azonban ez a viszony drasztikusan megváltozott; kialakítottunk többféle környezetet, melyek nagyrésze már idegenné vált számunkra, alig van kapcsolatunk velük. Elszakadtunk azoktól a helyektől, amelyeket szeretnénk megőrizni.
A fórumszínházat Augusto Boal brazil színházi rendező fejlesztette ki az Elnyomottak Színháza részeként. Boal célja az volt, hogy segítsen az elnyomottaknak jobban megérteni helyzetüket, és eszközt nyújtson a változtatáshoz. Ezen a workshopon gyakorlati ismereteket szerezhetsz a módszerről, és részt vehetsz egy fórumszínházi jelenet kidolgozásában.
