Volunteer Application for Telecare Distress Line Greater Simcoe
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Telecare Distress Line of Greater Simcoe! We operate a 24/7 confidential and inclusive phone support service to individuals in Simcoe County and beyond. Our Call Room is located in Orillia, ON, and our training is a hybrid model of in-person and online training.

We have a number of volunteer opportunities available, such as Frontline/Call Room Support, Fundraising & Events, Recruiting & Community Engagement, Administration Support, and Mentorship & Training. We do ask all new volunteers to complete our standard Call Room training. 

All Call Room volunteers are required to have a Criminal Record/Vulnerable Sector Check. Please let us know if there are any issues with this request, and we are able to accommodate an alternate volunteer and training experience.
