BrightLights: School Years REGISTRATION

You are on the REGISTRATION page for our BrightLights School Years program.

This form is intended for families who are ready to register for our after school classes only. Once we have secured your place in the classes we will be following up for your first payment which will be due in full at the time of confirmation.

If you have found yourself here and are not yet ready to register because you have questions or require more information, please be sure to email us at info@thestagenewwest.ca BEFORE filling in this form.

For those that are ready to register please note the following:

Due to the complex registration format for these classes, where some students request different numbers of days, we cannot guarantee that your specific days will be available. After you fill in your ideal days you will be contacted regarding availability.

Payment for your first month of your class set is due at the time of confirmation. Once your days have been secured you will be contacted for payment.

Please Note: This program is not a licensed childcare program. We are not "day care" nor are we "after school care". We are a performing arts studio that offers after school classes in specific arts disciplines, namely theatre, music, dance, art, yoga/mindfulness.

This program operates under the Community Care and Assisted Living Act: Child Care Licensing Regulation Division 2: Exemptions from the Act 3(1) b. Our program has been assessed and cleared by our local Childcare Licensing officer as operating within the parameters for the exemption.  This means that we are not able to accept subsidy nor can this class or sets of classes be relied upon for child care tax benefits.

As an Arts Immersion program we are offering classes that take place during after school hours. We are not offering child care in a traditional sense and should not be considered as such. Classes must meet minimum enrolment numbers in order to run.

You will be asked to confirm this knowledge at the end of the registration form.

Please indicate that you understand that this is an after school class option that provides performing arts classes 5 days a week with WALKING pick up from Qayqayt. As our program grows we are hoping to provide vehicle pick up from other schools and Qayqayt but September 2021 we will only provide walking pick up from Qayqayt Elementary. If this does not work for you, please do not register. *
