We're so glad you are interested in our organization! General queries about NewWSO can be emailed to newwestsymphorch@gmail.com. Please complete this form if you are interested in playing in the orchestra.

While there is an expectation of general capability, NewWSO welcomes all instrumentalists, as long as there are openings; there are no auditions. While certain sections (primarily winds and percussion) may be more limited for artistic considerations, we welcome as many as possible to rehearse with us.

Musicians are expected to eventually become dues-paying members or pay weekly fees. Per-service fees and annual membership dues can be waived for an introductory period of one concert cycle. We make every effort to accommodate musicians of all financial means.

We rehearse Wednesdays 7-9:30pm at the Ethical Culture Society of Westchester, 7 Saxon Woods Road, White Plains, NY. We perform at least one concert each season at a variety of venues. Musicians are to bring their own stands and stand lights as necessary. Rehearsal schedules are posted on our website before each session. Sheet music is downloadable on our website.
