2024 Spring Returning Manager Sign Up
This form is only to be filled out by managers that managed a team in the SPRING or FALL of 2023. If you did not manage previously, you need to complete the new manager request form.

Please fill out all required fields to be considered for a spring manager position. Spring Ball is more competitive and good practice time for All Stars. Minors and above will have tryouts and a draft. Tee Ball and Rookies will be placed on teams.

The president must review and appoint managers for the league each season and then the board of directors must approve those appointments. 

Having managed previously, is not a guarantee to manage in the upcoming season.

Once you have submitted your request, you will be sent an email to complete a background check for the new season. Failures or delays in completing the background check process will prevent the board from approving you as a manager for the upcoming season.

Note: You have the ability to request to manage two teams in different divisions. However, if we have enough volunteers, you might only be issued one team. We appreciate the willingness to manage more than one but want to ensure we include all interested volunteers. The board also has to consider what divisions and the impact this can have on the players in those divisions.

If you have requested to manager two teams, please provide a brief overview of how you plan to ensure that both teams are provided the best possible opportunities to meet the Cibola LL Objective.
Objective: This organization shall implant firmly in the children of the community the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and respect for authority, so that they may be well adjusted, stronger and happier children and will grow to be good, healthy and trustworthy citizens. 

To achieve this objective, the Local League will provide a supervised program under the Rules and Regulations of Little League Baseball, Incorporated. All Directors, Officers and Members shall bear in mind that the attainment of exceptional athletic skills or winning of games is secondary, and the molding of future citizens is of prime importance.  
Manager Agreement and Authorization to Conduct Background Investigation

I hereby apply to be a volunteer Manager/Coach for Cibola Little League (CLL). I also understand that in addition to this Volunteer Manager Application, Little League International (LLI) requires me to submit a Little League (LL) Volunteer Application allowing CLL to conduct a background investigation in agreement with the LLI Child Protection Policy. My failure to pass or complete the background investigation automatically disqualifies me from being a league volunteer. I understand any information provided on the application or through validated sources can be used by the Board of Directors when determining my status with CLL.

If appointed as a volunteer Manager/Coach, I agree to abide by the goals and objectives of CLL, LLI Rule Book, CLL Safety Plan, CLL Bylaws, and District 8 Interleague Rules.

I may be subject to disciplinary action by the CLL Board of Directors up to and including dismissal of my volunteer position at any time for failure to comply with any part of the Agreement.

I understand that previous appointment as a manager or coach in the league does not guarantee me an appointment in the 2024 season.
