Introduction 引言

The COVID-19 pandemic has forced many changes in our lives over the last few months. Given all the uncertainties, we’re thankful to be able to continue to worship our Lord and have fellowship together through the use of technology. While online services have worked reasonably well, we all long for the return of in-person ministries and enjoy the presence of our Lord together.

Over the last several weeks the WCAC church leaders have started to discuss a plan for the gradual return to on-site services when it is relatively safe to do so. We anticipate there will be a transitional period during which many restrictions will be in place. During that time, we plan to continue to provide online services alongside in-person meetings to accommodate the different needs of our church members.

As we put together the re-opening plan, we will do the best we can to follow the government’s health and safety guidelines. Many safety precautions will be put in place (see Note below) while additional ones are being considered. By participating in this survey, you will help us better understand individual needs so we can adequately prepare for a safe and smooth re-opening.

Note: The WCAC re-opening safety precautions will likely include spread-apart seating, physical markers and signs, sanitization in-between services, no handouts or passing around items, keeping doors open where possible, temperature check, hand-sanitizer stations, bathroom air purifiers, disabling high-power electric hand dryers, etc.
