TERM FOUR: ACADEMIC EXTENSION THROUGH CHESS (AEC)
Participants learning the fundamentals of chess will engage with online and text-based resources and be guided through a series of lessons that will help them develop a sound understanding of chess.
Participants extending their knowledge will study opening theories, end-game principles and tricks/traps to employ or avoid. Students will also be challenged with chess-based puzzles, explore chess tactics with opportunities to improve their Chess Ratings.
