2021 Wine on the WestSide Volunteer Sign Up
Thank you for your interest in assisting with the 2021 Wine on the WestSide! This event cannot be made possible without amazing volunteers, like yourself.

Wine on the Westside takes place Saturday, August 14th in downtown Cookeville. Event hours are 6-10pm, but there is much to do throughout the day! Volunteers are needed to help with set up, during the event, and tear down/clean up. Please select the time slot and area that works best for you.

Volunteers will receive a complimentary general admission wristband, event t-shirt, and access to the Volunteer Lounge with air conditioning and private restrooms. Volunteers may use their wristband to enjoy the event when they are not fulfilling their shift, but their assigned role must be the first priority. Volunteers who abuse their complimentary wristband and do not fulfill their assigned roles will not be permitted to work the event in the future.

VOLUNTEER’S RELEASE FROM LIABILITY 1.) Voluntary Participation: I acknowledge that I am 21 years of age and have voluntarily applied to assist in the 2021 Wine on the WestSide festival, in which volunteers work as beverage pourers, entrance gate workers, ice runners, set up/tear down assistants, and other specified duties. I understand as a volunteer that I will NOT be paid for my services, that I will NOT be covered by any medical or other insurance coverage provided by any of the sponsors, including but not limited to, those partners listed at www.wineonthewestside.com, and that I will NOT be eligible for any Workers Compensation benefits. 2.) Release: In consideration of the opportunity afforded me to assist in the Wine on the WestSide festival, I hereby agree that I, my assignees, heirs, guardians, and legal representatives, will not make a claim against Wine on the WestSide, its sponsors, including, but not limited to those partners listed at www.wineonthewestside.com or any of its affiliated organizations, or either of their officers or directors collectively or individually, or the supplier of any materials or equipment that is used by the Wine on the WestSide festival, or any of the volunteer workers, for the injury or death to me or damage to my property, however caused, arising from my participation in Wine on the WestSide. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, I hereby waive and release any rights, actions, or causes or action resulting from personal injury or death to me, or damage to my property, sustained in connection with my participation in Wine on the WestSide. I further consent to the unrestricted use by Wine on the WestSide and/or persons authorized by them of any photographs, recordings, interviews, videotapes, motion pictures, or similar visual recording of me. *Entering your name below is implied consent to the liability discussed above. * *
