PLS READ CAREFULLY: Random Dinners Host Registration & Guidelines
Thank you for your interest in wanting to be a host in the 2nd Edition of Random Dinners for 2022 taking place on SATURDAY 17 SEPTEMBER 2022 at your home.


WHAT TO EXPECT AS A HOST?

First and foremost, a fun time and potentially some new friends!

Bearing in mind guests have purchased a $40-$70 ticket to attend the dinner, you will be providing a 3-course home-cooked meal + non-alcoholic beverages for your guests (no restaurant-ordered food or fast food); guests will be asked to bring wine (or another contribution as pre-agreed with you).

To help cover the costs of food etc., you will be reimbursed $40 for each guest you host.

We will reach out to you 2 weeks before the event to confirm your participation however, we would very much appreciate if you could let us know immediately if/when you know you are no longer able to host.

The weekend before the dinner, we will connect hosts and allocated guests via email - including contact details and dietary restrictions, if any. You may wish to set up a WhatsApp (or similar) group to communicate with your guests after (entirely optional).

Please do "play host" i.e. help to ensure everyone is comfortable and feels included.

Finally, we work very hard to ensure there's a good mix of guests at every dinner and that everyone gets to meet as many new faces as possible; we ask that you respect our guest allocation.
