It is the mission and intent of The Franklin County Dog Shelter and Adoption Center to at all times fully comply with and abide by both the spirit and the letter of Ohio’s Public Records Act. It is the goal of The Franklin County Dog Shelter and Adoption Center that all requests for public records shall be acknowledged following the office’s receipt of the request.

The requester must identify the records requested with sufficient clarity to allow our office to identify, retrieve, and review the records. The requestor may be asked for clarification, if the request is not clear.
