Our desire is to provide a welcoming event that includes all who wish to participate while providing a great event for both the public and the participant. To this end, it is important that all participants adhere to a high standard of authenticity.

For a woman to impersonate a male in battle, she must not be identifiable as a woman. Women choosing to participate in a battle as a male combatant agree to the following rules and to presenting themselves for an inspection prior to entering the battlefield. The inspection is meant to provide feedback and to allow the participate time, if needed, to make adjustment to their presentation so that they will meet the rules outlined below. Failure to comply with an inspection or failure to make the necessary presentation adjustments will prevent the women from participating in the battle.

No make up: mascara, lipstick, rouge, and eye shadow is not appropriate for this event. Unobtrusive foundation and concealer are acceptable.
Hair pulled back or pinned up on top of the head and covered with the appropriate helmet. No ponytails or braids down the back (inside or outside) the uniform will be allowed.
Chest must be minimized to the greatest extent possible. Can be minimized through padding under the uniform to make the stomach and chest "even" or through other uniform adjustments.
No jewelry may be visible
