The lantern walk is design for families to gather together at sunset to learn to embrace the natural changes. Though it is geared towards children, please know that all ages are welcome! Please share this event with your friends. Many have turned this event into a sweet tradtion. Let's light the night!
WHEN: Saturday, December 9th
TIME: 4:00pm - we will have some sweet little activities available while families gather set up by 3:30 but the walk itself will begin at 4 with a short story and a song.
LOCATION: Forth Washington State Park, Fort Washington, PA
BYOL (BRING YOUR OWN LANTERN): Please bring a lantern, light, flashlight, anything you can use to light your path (Make your own lanterns HERE). Please let me know if you need a lantern. I do have many to share! I WILL HAVE TEA-LIGHTS FOR YOU: I will provide one battery-operated tea light for everyone who has registered to be sure that everyone can light their lanterns!
WEATHER: This is a beloved tradition that goes on in rain, snow, or shine (unless the weather conditions become dangerous). Please be sure you dress your child in weather appropriate layers so they are happy and cozy as the sun drops.
