Food Sales: TERMS
All food purchases will be made via JASSA Food Tickets. Prices can be determined by the vendor.
Food Tickets will be sold at $1 = 1 Ticket. This is how the 10% will be determined after the event.
Vendors are responsible for their tickets and turning in before leaving the event. It is recommended to have your own box to collect tickets that you can monitor; JASSA can provide a small, gray cash box upon request. Manila envelopes with vendor's name listed will be given AFTER SANITATION INSPECTION to vendors for turning in at the end of the event.
Temporary Food Permit: One Day Event
In order for FOOD to be sold at this event, JASSA will file Temporary Food Permits with the City of San Antonio for this event on the vendor's behalf. However, this means that the food booths at this event will be inspected by a Food Sanitation Surveyor before or during the event, in order for the permits to be valid. Before the event begins, a JASSA Board member will check the requirements of the food permit at each booth.
Food Vendors must provide/have their own hand-wash station and (Utensil) sanitation-station. JASSA will have liquid soap, water, paper towels and bottled bleach on hand as needed. Food Vendors must also provide their own working fire extinguisher that is not expired.
A checklist of requirements by the City of San Antonio can be found here.
