Seeking Places That Still Require Masks and Other COVID Prevention Efforts in NYC and Surrounding Areas: Guide to Safe Businesses for People Who are at High-Risk
We need your help! COVID Advocacy NY is updating our NYC Mask Guide (NYCMaskGuide.org) to businesses, museums, theaters, and other public spaces in NYC that are still requiring masks and other COVID-19 prevention efforts to protect people, including high-risk staff, customers, and visitors.

Do you know of any businesses or other public spaces that are still requiring masks and other COVID-19 prevention efforts in NY? Or any spaces that sadly no longer require masks but are still listed on our NYC Mask Guide? Can you help us find out?

Please fill out this form with any businesses, museums, theaters, or other public places that you know of that are still requiring masks and other COVID prevention efforts. (ex: grocery stores, bookstores, museums, pharmacies, banks, laundromats, etc). Please also add to the form any places that you saw listed in our NYC Mask Guide that are no longer requiring masks. 

We would love your help in finding more places for our list. Please call, email, or message your local businesses and ask them if they are still requiring masks. And/or look on your local business website for their masking requirements. If they're not, encourage them to start requiring masks. Let them know that COVID transmission is still high in NY and that masks are needed to protect everyone. If relevant, let them know that you will no longer visit their establishment if they don't mandate masks.

Some sample language you could use:
"Hi! We are creating a list of local spaces that still require masks and protect their high-risk customers and staff. Is your space still requiring masks? Thanks!"

If you want to take an extra step, leave a review for them on Google or Yelp either thanking them for their COVID prevention efforts or criticizing their lack of protection efforts.
