This Fee Waiver is intended to be of benefit to those experiencing a financial barrier to participation in the program. Currently, to be eligible for a Fee Waiver, you must be a current recipient of at least one of the following programs:

Section 8, SNAP, OHP, Free and Reduced Lunch Program

Fee Waiver No-Show Policy:

- If a fee waiver applicant is a no-show for a workshop or fruit share they were awarded, and does not give notice, they will be ineligible for the award of another fee waiver for the rest of the calendar year.

- If a fee waiver applicant is a no-show for a workshop or fruit share they were awarded, and does give notice, they may re-apply for another fee waiver if funding is still available, but may not transfer the fee waiver for the canceled workshop or fruit share to a different date or share.

HOMESTEADERS BOUNTY REGISTRATION

The following questions complete your Homesteaders Bounty Registration and cover things like the contents of your Fruit Boxes and Details for Pickup!
Fruit Box Contents and Growing Practices
There are over 100 varieties of fruit trees growing in the orchard. The exact varieties of apples, pears, and quince in each box is variable and depends on harvest. Participants will receive a total of two 25 lb. fruit boxes over the course of this subscription.

The contents of all fruit boxes will be #2-rated fruit, as described on the program page--fruit that did not make the first cut in the sorting process due to blemishes or minor damage that DO NOT affect freshness or taste.

All fruit included in your boxes is grown using only organically approved growing methods abstaining from the use of synthetic fertilizers and toxic chemical pesticides. Please note that while we do adhere to organic standards, we are not certified.  If you have any questions about our inputs or growing methods, please don't hesitate to reach out!

The pickup location for your Homesteaders Bounty fruit boxes is the Home Orchard Education Center, located on the Clackamas Community College Campus in Oregon City. Directions and a map can be found on our website here.
