The WNC Racial Equity Collective is offering the next Racial Equity Institute Phase 1 Workshop on Friday and Saturday, February 3 - 4, 2023 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm both days.

The workshop is most effective when we have a participant group that represents a diverse cross-section of community members from a variety of organizations, industries and roles.

In order to cover the cost of the training, we charge $300 per person and we strongly encourage employers to invest professional development dollars to send employees. We ask that people attending from well-resourced organizations or families pay from the tiered selections outlined in this form to support, in particular, people of color who are not with an organization that can pay for their participation. This is an investment on behalf of an organization that recognizes that ongoing equity work is enhanced by employees being rooted in a racial equity analysis. From individuals, it allows for accumulated wealth to be invested in addressing the inequities often exacerbated by economic wealth gaps.
