NPHS Band Boosters Parent Volunteer Form
The NPHS Band Boosters are made up of band parents, color guard parents & supporters of the NPHS Band program! The goal of the NPHS Band Boosters is to assist & support our band directors with funding & anything else needed.  In past years, we have purchased multiple scholarships for students to attend the IU Summer Music Clinic, new marching cymbals & accessories, marching sousaphones, a new parade banner, full concert blacks for all high school concert band members, carts to store music stands/chairs, color guard equipment bags and raised funds to purchase a brand new trailer for the Marching Cougars to use at competitions!  We also fund yearly purchases such as senior gifts/awards, guest technicians & clinicians to come in & work with our bands, a portion of the commemorative banners for our seniors and Smith-Walbridge drum major camp fees.

In past years, we have held raffles of all kinds, restaurant Give Back nights, spearheaded the trailer fundraising drive of almost $10,000 to fund our new Marching Cougars trailer and fully completed our fundraising efforts of $60,000+ for new Marching Cougars uniforms that arrived in the summer of 2019!  This upcoming year, we look forward to doing many annual fundraisers for us, including Give Back nights, the Hometown Days Festival Band Boosters booth & Dunk Tank, Trivia Night, Mattress Fundraiser, concession stand coverage at all home football games & many other new opportunities as they arise.  The NPHS Band Boosters are always open to new fundraising ideas as well - let us know if you have a great new idea for us to try!

For the coming school year - we are looking for volunteers to help staff the concession stand, be parade walkers, be part of the field & food crews for band competitions, event chaperones, ticket & program takers, and just about anything else that needs to be done throughout the school year!  Please complete the attached form and return at the end of this meeting or by our “ALL PAPERWORK DUE DATE” of THURSDAY, JUNE 16th!  You can follow us on Facebook at New Prairie Band Boosters as well.  Thank you for your support!

This help is greatly needed & appreciated.  We need 14 workers each game to effectively run the Concession Stand for Friday night Varsity games. We also run a limited concession stand for JV and Freshman games with a staff of 4-5 people. Varsity games are listed first, followed by JV games, then Freshman games. Freshman/JV games are marked as such below for clarification.  Any & all help in this area is greatly appreciated!

Hometown Days Parade Booth
During Hometown Days, NP Boosters has a booth to sell New Prairie Band merchandise. In past years we have also had a dunk tank. While the activities may vary, the fun never does! This booth relies on parents for staffing. Additionally, New Carlisle United Methodist Church has asked our band/color guard STUDENTS & parents to work in their food booth at the New Carlisle Hometown Days for the 3 day event as well.  Shifts will be 2 hours in length.  The more volunteers we have to help, the more money we will earn!

I have a larger-sized truck & can pull a band trailer for some or all marching band competitions this season!
We are looking for additional assistance from parents interested in serving on our NPHS Band Boosters Executive Board!  Click on one or more positions that you might have interest in & we will contact you w/more information soon! *
Required
I would like to donate snacks, drinks and/or staff meals for band camp! (Mr. Teykl will reach out over the summer to work out specifics!)
I would like to donate water for marching band season! (Everyone needs to donate 1 case if possible!)
I can help set-up/organize @ Blue Debut on Saturday, August 27th!
Blue Debut is when we will get to preview our marching show.  Families help prepare food and drinks, but there is a lot to set up for serving all our band students and their families, and of course other guests too!
I would like to help build props for the marching band show!
Call me any time to help with something random as needed!
