Brief description about the method used for active learning (technique/tool) used:

Project Based Learning (PBL) was used in DSP course for In-Semester evaluation (25 Marks) of students. They were asked to implement simulation based projects in groups. In each group they identified one DSP application, developed a block diagram and implemented/simulated DSP technique for selected application using suitable software platform. They presented their work in 3 different phases.

Objectives of the activity related to topic undertaken:

1) To combine theoretical knowledge of students with practical applications, 2) To encourage students to conduct literature survey and find suitable solution (amongst different existing methods) for the problem, 3) To work in group, prepare and deliver presentations, 4) To perform hands on practice on simulation platforms and analyze results, 5) To inculcate self learning
