iEmpower Survivor Survey
Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey. We recognize the importance of involving survivors' perspectives when addressing survivor services and highly appreciate your participation. The purpose of the survey is to assess the scope of trauma-informed care policies and practices among gynecology, obstetric, and abortion clinics in the DC area (including Maryland and Virginia) from the perspective of survivors of sexual assault. Your perspective will help NVRDC create trainings and resources that will equip these medical practitioners to interact with sexual assault survivors in a trauma-informed manner. This survey should take 5 to 10 minutes to complete.

This survey is being conducted by the Network for Victim Recovery of DC (NVRDC). NVRDC empowers victims of all crimes to achieve survivor defined justice through a collaborative continuum of advocacy, case management, and legal services. To learn more, you can visit our website at www.nvrdc.org, or sign up for news and updates at the end of this survey. Additionally, participants will have the option to submit their email for a chance of winning a $25 Visa Gift Card. If you have any questions about this survey or NVRDC services, please reach out to igive@nvrdc.org.

CONFIDENTIALITY DISCLAIMER: Survey results will not be shared with individuals outside NVRDC and will be used solely for NVRDC's research. Any findings reported in training manuals, presentations, or other sources will not be linked to any identifiable information. While an email can be collected if a survivor chooses to participate in the raffle for a gift card, that all emails will be deleted after the raffle is complete. Besides that, no names, emails, or other identifying information will be collected.

TRIGGER WARNING: The following survey asks survivors to reflect on their experiences receiving medical treatment after a sexual assault. The survey questions and opportunities for reflecting may be triggering for some survivors. If this happens, please do not feel pressured to continue the survey, your well-being comes first! If you need to speak to someone, please consider calling the DC Rape Crisis Center: (202) 232-0789.
