2023 Pageant Rules and Regulations
This document must be signed that you understand and agree with the rules and it must be received along with your child's entry form and non-refundable $25.00 fee by April 22nd at 2PM. Please keep copies for your reference. No child will be permitted to participate without this document signed by the child and their parent or guardian with all other requirements and deadlines also met.  

RULES:
  1. Must be a resident of Highland County, Fayette County, or Ross County. 
  2. Submit signed rules and regulations with questionnaire and non-refundable $25 fee. 
  3. Division winners may not compete again in the same division. 
  4. Contestants cannot hold another pageant title, must not have married, given birth, or be pregnant before or during reign.
DIVISIONS: 
  • Prince: Ages 5-13 
  • Princess: Ages 5-8 
  • Junior Miss: Ages 9-13 
  • Queen: Ages 14-18  
 QUEEN DIVISION WINNER DUTIES:
  • Ride in Local Parades (Must secure your own car/driver) 
  • Represent Greenfield Music Festival in activities until next year’s pageant 
  • Attend Greenfield Music Festival functions to promote student recognition, school activities, community service, etc. (with a parent or guardian as chaperone) 
  • Greenfield Music Festival Queen will complete 250 community service hours
REGISTRATION FEE: Non-refundable $25.00 per contestant (Checks payable to Greenfield Music Festival) 

PAGEANT: The pageant will be held on June 2nd, 2023 at Main Stage at the Greenfield Music Festival (Downtown Greenfield, OH). Dates/times for each category, interviews, etc. will be given in other information. One parent will be allowed in the dressing area only until 15 minutes before the pageant begins. After that time, sufficient chaperones will be present and no further parental assistance will be allowed. During the pageant competition, contestants may not use nor have a cell phone in their possession. 

REHEARSALS: Dates and times for rehearsals at Small Town Fitness will be given in other information. Every entrant must participate in these rehearsals (not dress rehearsals). The auditorium is not available for practicing at any other time. 

ATTIRE: Ages 5-13: Evening/Semi Formal Wear (Only age group 14-18) Contestants are to wear interview clothing for personal interviews and evening gowns for on stage judging.

JUDGING: Contestants will be judged by well-qualified judges from out of the area on stage presence, personality, poise, and appropriate appearance. Judging for the Princess, Junior Miss, and Queen also includes academic achievement, school activities, community service, leadership, and interview. All students will be judged equally. No one will be allowed to approach the judges or judge's table or the tabulators or tabulator’s table before or during the pageant. Score sheets will not be shown nor given out. All decisions are final. 

SCHOLARSHIPS: Prince: $25 CD Princess: $25 CD Junior Miss: $50 CD Queen: $1000 Scholarship (Queen will be paid at the completion of duties after one full year's reign.) 

DEADLINE: A completed entry form, non-refundable $25.00 fee, and signed copy of this document must be submited by May 20th, 2023 at Small Town Fitness (403 Jefferson St, Greenfield, OH 45123). For further information, please email greenfieldmusicfest@gmail.com.
