THP Workshop/Event Proposal Form
Thank you for the interest to run your event / workshop here at The Hatchery Place! We are so glad that you resonate with our space and mission. Please note that we do not host private events that excludes our community as we have coliving residents living in the house, and all events that we run here are open for their participations.

Workshop Policies at The Hatchery Place
1) The Hatchery Place (THP) takes 30% of the total fees collected for workshops hosted here. THP will issue registration form, coordinate participants, answer inquiries and collect payment of fees on behalf. Full fees will be released to the facilitator same day upon workshop completion, latest on the following day after workshop.

2) For workshop to run, minimum sign up = 2 pax, else event to be cancelled or postponed to the next available date. If workshop were to cancel due to no minimum sign ups, please inform at least 1 day in advance, so the hosts/helpers could free up their schedules.

3)HALF DAY WORKSHOP
   Up to maximum 4hrs + 0.5 hrs set up + 0.5 hrs clean up / closing

   FULL DAY WORKSHOP
   Up to maximum 8hrs + 0.5 hrs set up + 0.5 hrs clean up / closing

4) Included:
  • Coffee / tea provided
  • Complimentary social media poster design by THP with ONE iteration allowance upon checking
  • Complimentary promotions on THP social medias, our website, our Google Business & our Meetup.com platform ( if event is not private)
  • Complimentary photography/video during workshop / Live Story

5) Allow 10 mins for THP introduction to the participants at the start of workshop.

6) To avoid overcrowding, observers will be counted as half participant. Therefore, 50% fee is liable for observers. From our experience, observers do take up space at our already small house, and they do absorb knowledge from listening (due to the close proximity).

7) Common space usage or private workshop are subjected to availability, Weekdays / weekends

By participating in this event, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
  • Kindly arrive on time, so as not to inconvenient other participants.
  • If you arrive late or unforeseen circumstances or traffic conditions prevented you from attending the event, we will still proceed at its intended time.
  • If you would like someone to replace your slot, kindly inform us as early as possible.
  • You agree that we may include photos of you in any promotional materials relating to the event and/or any materials used at the event. (Do inform us if you have privacy concerns, we will try our best to exclude you in our photos.)
  • We do encourage usage of public transport / car pooling as parking spaces are tight in this residential neighborhood.
  • THP is a coliving home, open concept in the shared space area where events are held. Our residents (including our resident cat) are free to walk pass the area freely at any moment to access the doors, kitchen and other stuffs.

We house coliving residents that are usually location independent nomads & travelers. If there is a physical bulky/heavy workshop takeaway that is hard to store/fly with, then it doesn't suit travelers.
