Childcare Registration

Licensed Early Childhood Educators from CIWA will be offering childminding services for children between the ages of 1-12 years on Saturday, March 11, 2023 (12:30 pm-4:30 pm) at the Calgary Public Library. These services are free of charge to parents who are attending this year's IWD program, Intergenerational Storytelling.

Parents whose children are registered for childminding services at the library are required to remain on the same site at all times for the duration of the event and be available to assist and assume responsibility in case of an emergency. Photo ID will be required when dropping and picking children up.

 To ensure that programming and care is age appropriate activities, children will be grouped into two groups:

  1. Group A: 12 months to 6 years
  2. Group B: 6 years+ to12 years 

  • Pre-registration is required as seats are limited and fill up fast!
  • We ask that parents please pack a light snack and provide diapers for their non-toilet trained children
