Cross Country Running Club
If you are in grades 9-12 and interested in running cross country, please sign up below. Practices will be once per week and may progress to more practice time in the coming weeks.  You will need to fill out the "Permission to Participate Form" in School Cash Online.  https://dsbn.schoolcashonline.com/

Guidelines for players
Students learning in-person or remotely can participate
● Each student must complete the “permission to participate” consent form prior to starting
● Each student must complete a covid self assessment (in the DSBN student portal), pass
the assessment and be symptom-free prior to arriving at the gym/weight room
● Follow all directions of coaches
● Arrive dressed and ready for practice for morning practices
● Wait for coach direction before entering changerooms
● Bring your own water bottle(s)
● Wear a mask indoors on arrival to, using change rooms and washrooms and leaving
practice
● Masks indoors as suitable to activity and safety - the coach will provide directions about
masking
● Maintain physical distance from others as directed and don’t participate in unnecessary
physical contact with others eg. high fives
● Sanitize hands upon arrival to the gym/weight room, before and after breaks
● If you have any covid symptoms that arise during practice, please notify a coach
immediately
● If you test positive for covid you need to contact the principal/coach immediately.
