This program will equip young Women of Color and White co-conspirators, ages 14-24 years old, to be leaders and activators for social justice, racial equity, and social change. The B.R.A.V.E. Campus Ambassadors (Ambassadors) will learn to enhance their communication, leadership, intercultural, and team-building skills, while gaining hands-on practical skills for community organizing and engagement. Additionally, we will provide ongoing tools and practices to strengthen Ambassadors mental health and well-being, with focus on race-related trauma and coping with the pandemic. These are rich skills that can be applied to personal and social relationships, as well as academic and professional endeavors.
We'll kick off the 2022/2023 program with a 90-minute orientation on September 11th (specific time in the afternoon will be TBD). During the orientation, the Ambassadors will select a Committee(s) with anticipated 2-10 hours per month group meetings/work + independent research and project work.

● Be 14 to 24 (inclusive) years old
● Identify as female-identifying, non-binary individual
● Commit to at least one “Committee” and help coordinate once a quarter community- building event.
● Be a self-motivated, passionate, and dedicated individual who wants to be B.R.A.V.E. and bring positive change in your community.
● Have an interest in building a deeper understanding of how racial identity is tied to social justice.
● Have a desire to develop leadership and advocacy skills, while strengthening your self- confidence, identity, voice, mental health, and well-being.
