ALL COACHES MUST PASS A SUCCESSFUL BACKGROUND CHECK.  THE VIKINGS WILL SUPPLY WHO WILL BE CONDUCTING THE BACKGROUND CHECKS; HOWEVER, IT IS THE RESPONSIBILTY OF EACH COACH TO PAY FOR THEIR OWN BACKGROUND CHECK.  THIS COST WILL NOT EXCEED $25. *
No guarantee is expressed or implied by this application that an applicant will be offered a coaching position with the Viking Youth Football & Cheerleading Association.  When an offer is made every attempt is made to place an application in the level or squad requested.  Returning coaches are not guaranteed positions.  All offers are contingent on the recipient passing a criminal background check. All decisions of the Coaches Committee are final. *
If coaching position is approved, your commitment as a coach will be required throughout the entire 2023 cheer season.  Note, your cheer season begins upon application approval through the end of season banquet (Dec 2023/Jan 2024). *
If coaching position is approved, you will be required to attend: Vikings Cheer Coaches Clinics, ICA Summer Camp (if applicable), Vikings Skills Camp, and Vikings & ICA Monthly Board Meetings. In addition, we EXPECT for all Coaches to be active participants in all Viking events and happenings throughout the 2023 cheer season. *
